Starbucks Cards are issued by Starbucks Coffee Company and can be purchased at participating Starbucks stores or online. Cards must be registered to access certain features and protections.
Card balances can be loaded with a minimum of $5 and maximum of $500. Funds loaded onto your card do not expire, but the card itself may have an expiration date printed on it.
Registered cards that are lost or stolen may be replaced with remaining balance intact. Unregistered cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Card balances are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Product returns will be credited back to the card used for purchase.
Cards cannot be used to purchase other Starbucks Cards or certain promotional items. Cards are valid only at participating locations.
Starbucks Rewards is available to individuals 13 years or older. One account per person. Account sharing is prohibited.
Members earn 2 Stars for every $1 spent at participating stores when paying with a registered Starbucks Card or mobile app. Stars are awarded after payment is processed.
Stars can be redeemed for free drinks, food, and merchandise according to the current reward tier system. Rewards must be redeemed within specified timeframes.
Stars expire 6 months from the month they were earned. Members will receive notifications before stars expire.
Starbucks reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Rewards program with reasonable notice to members.
Gift cards can be purchased in various denominations and designs. Digital gift cards are delivered via email, while physical cards are available in stores.
Gift cards can be used for purchases at participating Starbucks locations. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Gift card balances can be checked online, through the mobile app, or by asking a barista at any participating store.
Gift cards do not have monthly fees or expiration dates. Funds remain on the card until used.
Lost or damaged gift cards may be replaced if you have the card number and can provide proof of purchase.
Mobile Order & Pay is available at participating Starbucks stores. Service availability may vary by location and time.
Orders must be placed through the official Starbucks mobile app. Payment is processed when the order is submitted.
Orders are prepared for pickup at the designated time and location selected in the app. Orders not picked up within a reasonable time may be discarded.
Orders cannot be modified or cancelled once submitted. Refunds may be issued at store discretion for orders that cannot be fulfilled.
Starbucks is not responsible for technical issues that may prevent order placement or pickup. Alternative payment methods are available in stores.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America.
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
Starbucks may update these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
